Don't Trust the Hype: Benefit "They're Real Push-Up Eyeliner"
This review is long over-due.
A few months ago Benefit came out with "THEY'RE REAL PUSH UP EYELINER", and everyone went bonkers over it and bought themselves one. I followed close suit, and purchased one myself. Being a frequent Cat-Eye "repper" I thought this product would make my life easier.
A few months ago Benefit came out with "THEY'RE REAL PUSH UP EYELINER", and everyone went bonkers over it and bought themselves one. I followed close suit, and purchased one myself. Being a frequent Cat-Eye "repper" I thought this product would make my life easier.
Behold!
Upon opening the packaging, I would say that the product looks very cute, and very sturdy.
I couldn't wait to try it out as soon as I yanked it out of the box!
I read directions and started to turn the bottom to help the product come out of the top. It takes about 30 twists for stuff to come out! If you turn it too much, you have an excess amount of eyeliner slowly oozing out as well.. so that is CON #1
#2 Upon putting the product on my eyelid, it was very THICK. The product, along with the rubber angle "brush" would pull on my skin and would not apply smoothly. There were spots and streaks. And when you have blond lashes like me, this is not an acceptable option. I had to apply a different eyeliner to coverup the spottiness, because if you apply too much of this it turns into a cakey mess.
Pros:
LASTS ALL DAY
In Conclusion, if you wish to blow $25 dollars on a "precision" eyeliner, I would not recommend purchasing Benefit Push-Up Liner.
I would lean more towards KAT VON D Tattoo Liner. It is less expensive and very easy to apply.
Thanks For Reading!!
XOXO

Woes of Hormonal Acne
AAAAAARRRRGGGHHH!!!
I dont know about you, but I have been majorly suffering from adult hormonal acne around my chin, and cheeks. It has lasted for about a year now, and it is driving me BONKERS!
I am going to be HOPEFULLY posting weekly about my progress and products I have been using to zap this ongoing problem of hormone acne.
This last year I have made some MAJOR lifestyle changes:
-I quit my full-time job and have moved from Palm Springs, CA (the clear, hot, desert) to Los Angeles, CA (crazy, polluted, populated city.)
-I moved into a studio apartment with my new boyfriend
-Looked frantically for work
-Acting training 3 times a week
-Actively seeked talent agent representation
So on top of my hormones being off balance, climate/enviornment changes, I think it is safe to say that STRESS has been a major factor to my break outs as well.
Over this last year, I have gone to a dermotologist, who prescribed me some sort of antibiotic, that didnt do CRAP.
So I have been seeking other ways and products to help get my face back to normal.
Please stick around and travel through my Break-out journey to beautiful healthy skin!

Which Indiana Jones do you love?
My favorite Indiana Jones film of ALL TIME is
Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade!
Now, to be honest I have always had a thing for Harrison Ford. I know, I know, He is old enough to be my Dad.. better yet my GRANDFATHER but I have always found him so dreamy!
A little embarrassing fact, I would always wear a fedora as a child and jump from my sisters twin bed to mine as if I were apart of the action right next to Indy himself. Talk to the TV as if I had lines, and just play as Indiana Jones HOT FEMALE SIDEKICK (C'mon I was 6 or 7, I was in no way HOT, or fit to be his partner in crime)
As I have grown older and as I continue to watch this movie, Sean Connery looks good to me too! Sheesh Is something wrong with me? Meh.. IDK.
But I have always loved the back story to this movie. Venice, Nazi Germany, The HOLY GRAIL! Everything just WORKS here.
If I had to list my favorite Indiana Jones movies in the order of preference, it would be as is:
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
&
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
What are your favorites and why?
Having sweet dreams of Harrison Ford
XOXO
Megs
